INFORMATION
Linda
Comerford has been teaching and training for the past 29 years in
various educational settings including junior high in the '70s,
college in the '80s, corporations in the '90s, and now online in
the new millenium.
Her educational
background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Valparaiso
University in 1971 with a major in English and minors in Secondary
Education, Journalism, along with Speech and Theatre. She then earned
a Master of Science degree in Education from Indiana University
in 1977 followed by a lifetime teaching endorsement in Reading.
While in college
and after she graduated, she worked at various radio stations with
her own easy listening show at Valparaiso University. She served
as a Program Director at WTHE in Mineola, New York, where she wrote,
directed, and performed newscasts, public service announcements,
as well as commercials.
In 1989, she
became the sole proprietor of her own company, Comerford Consulting.
Since then, she has written and presented numerous seminars to satisfied
